Research Roadmap - 2026

Bachelor of English Literature Research roadmap was compiled based on research themes that was derived from research themes in the Faculty.

Themes in the Faculty

1. Local Wisdom in Language, Literature, and Culture

2. Preservation and Utilization of Language, Literature, and Culture

3. Values in Language, Literature, and Culture

4. Contemporary Phenomenon and Millennial Generation in Language, Literature, and Contemporary Culture

5. Language, Literature, and Culture Learning System

6. Big data

7. Digital Technology

8. Language in Communication

9. Other Social Humanities

Fundamental Adoption and Adaptation:

Research theme 1, 2, 3, 4, 9 can be represented into language use and therefore, those five research themes can be compiled into one Language and Language Use in Communication research theme. Meanwhile, research theme 7 can be applied to each research topic on the fifth year, as the last year research findings were expected to be in digital visualization. The foundation to the department research roadmap can be arranged based on these themes:

1. Language and Language Use in Communication

2. Big data (Cross disciplines research)

3. Learning system

The three themes above can be described further into several research topics and sub topics at the Bachelor of English Literature as displayed in the following table.
