Aims

The Bachelor of English Literature (BoEL) program is aimed at producing:

1. qualified, dedicated, skilled graduates in English, and devoted  to the Supreme God with the following qualifications: (a) having excellence qualities in mastering English linguistic and literary aspects; (b) mastering basic skills in recognizing, understanding, and explaining issues related to language, especially English, and (c) mastering the basics of linguistic and literary research methodology, being open and responsive to the development of linguistics , literature, and culture and use it in social life.
   
2. activities and quality of research in language, literature and culture that are published and recognized both nationally and internationally and serve as a reference for the development of language, literature, and culture in the community.
   
3. qualified community services and able to fulfil the basic needs of the wider community in understanding the development of language.
